Reply with AI, Proofread, Translate and Summarize, only when you click.

Mailroom’s AI features run only when you click them:

• Reply with AI drafts a reply in the sender’s language, for you to edit.
• Proofread, in the composer, fixes spelling, grammar and punctuation. ⌘Z undoes it.
• Translate shows a message in your language.
• Summarize turns a long conversation into a few sentences.

Set it up in Settings › AI:

• OpenRouter: make a key at openrouter.ai, paste it, and pick a model. Mailroom only uses providers that don’t keep or train on what you send.
• A model on this Mac: with Ollama or LM Studio. Your mail never leaves your Mac; answers take longer.

Only the text of that message, conversation or draft is sent, never attachments or images.
