Yahoo, Fastmail, Purelymail, Proton and others

Any IMAP account works; most want an app password.

Pick your provider in Add Account, or type your address, and Mailroom fills in the servers.

• Yahoo and AOL: make an app password in your account’s security settings.
• Fastmail: make an app password under Settings › Privacy & Security. Its calendar and contacts are at https://caldav.fastmail.com and https://carddav.fastmail.com.
• Purelymail: your Purelymail password. Calendar and contacts are at https://purelymail.com.
• Proton Mail: install Proton Mail Bridge, and use the password Bridge shows for Mailroom. Mailroom knows Bridge’s settings.
• Zoho, GMX, Yandex, Mail.ru: pick them in the list. Some need IMAP turned on in their web settings first.
• Your own domain: type your address. Mailroom looks up where the domain’s mail goes and fills in the servers. Check them under Server settings if your host says otherwise.
