Mail is missing or not showing up
Finding a message you can’t see, and older mail that’s still on its way.
Search for it. Go to All Inboxes (⌘1) and press ⌘F. From there, search covers all your mail except Trash, Junk and Drafts; in a folder, it looks in that folder. Type in:trash or in:junk to look there.
Older mail is still coming. When you add an account, Mailroom downloads the last 90 days first, so you can start right away, then older mail in the background. A big mailbox takes a while, so leave Mailroom open.
The Unread switch is on. It hides mail you’ve read. Turn it off at the top of the list.
It’s in another folder. Gmail labels show as folders. Rules on your mail provider’s website can move mail before Mailroom sees it.
It went to Junk. Look in the Junk folder and move it back to the Inbox; most providers learn from that.
It was deleted somewhere else. Mailroom stays in step with your mail server, so mail deleted or moved on your phone is deleted or moved here too. Look in Trash.
New mail isn’t arriving at all. See Mailroom can’t connect or sign in.
Still stuck? or email asavytski@gmail.com. A person reads every message.
