Tags
Colour-coded tags that stay with your mail.
Press l, or click the tag button, to add or remove tags; type a new name to make one. Tags show in the sidebar, and tag:name searches for them.
Where your mail server allows it, tags are saved on the server with each message, so they survive a reinstall and show in Mailroom on your other Macs. Where it doesn’t, Mailroom keeps them on your Mac and says so once. Most phone mail apps don’t show tags.
