Keyboard shortcuts

Gmail’s single keys, and the usual Mac shortcuts.

Press ? in the main window to see every shortcut.

Gmail’s single keys

• j / k: older or newer conversation
• e: archive · #: move to Trash · !: move to Junk
• r / a / f: reply, reply all, forward · c: new message
• s: star · ⇧I / ⇧U: mark read or unread
• v: move to… · l: tag… · b: snooze…
• z: undo · /: search · x: select
• g i / g d / g t: All Inboxes, Drafts, Sent · g f: go to a folder or tag · g c: calendar

Turn them off in Settings › General › Keyboard if you’d rather not.

Mac shortcuts (always on)

⌘N new message · ⌘R reply · ⇧⌘R reply all · ⇧⌘F forward · ⌃⌘A archive · ⌘⌫ delete · ⌘Z undo · ⌘F search · ⇧⌘G go to folder · ⇧⌘N get new mail · ⌘P print · ⌘↩ send.
